Jesse Hockett to Drive Harley Van Dyke's 5H at Trophy Cup


Jesse Hockett will make a West Coast appearance at the Tulare Thunderbowl -Trophy Cup, driving for veteran car owner Harley Van Dyke. Jesse is comming into this race after finishing 12th Thursday, 1st Friday, and 4th Saturday at the Perris Oval Nationals. Hockett also ran 2nd on Friday and was up front again when a cut tire ended his night at the Manzanita Speedway – 40th Checker Auto Parts/Budweiser/Parker Store "Western World Championships". Jesse will be onboard the LRB Manufacturing, Hansen Machine & Fab, J.F. McCray Plastering, Rod End Supply, #5H S&D / J&J Chassis ASCS 360.

Croft Runs 3rd at Hanford


Team Driver Willie Croft ran strong at Kings Speedway in Hanford, CA Saturday Night. Congratulations to Willie and veteran tuner Rick Hirst. Croft started the night qualifying 4th. Willie Won his heat and then Won the Dash. Croft completed the night by finishing 3rd in the main. Tony Bruce Jr. and Jesse Hockett run Strong on Night #1 at the 20th Annual O'Reilly Short Track Nationals


Team Drivers Tony Bruce Jr. and Jesse Hockett run strong on night #1 at the 20th Annual O'Reilly Short Track Nationals. Tony Bruce started the night by running 2nd to fellow team driver Jesse Hockett in the fourth heat. In the Qualifier Heat #2 Bruce again ran 2nd. Hockett in the Qualifier Heat #2 Hockett ran 6th. In the main Hockett ran from 17th to 6th before a last lap flip would take him out of the action. Bruce ran a strong 6th. Jesse Hockett drives the VKCC Motorsports, LRBMFG, #75j using Westmar / DRC. Tony Bruce drives the Best Well Service, LRBMFG, Smiley's, Penske, Fast Wings, Maxim, DMI, Bell #18t Maxim. Great job Jesse and Tony !!!

Croft runs 5th in the 5h at Petaluma


Team Driver Willie Croft ran 5th at Petaluma Speedway. Willie started the night qualifying 17th. Croft then checked out from his front row starting spot to win his heat, driving for long-time car owner Harley Van Dyke. He started the main from the 5th row and worked his way up to 5th on a track that had limited passing. Croft drove the 5H, LRB Manufacturing, Hansen Machine & Fab, J.F. Lynton Jeffrey will Drive Harley Van Dyke's 5H at Fall Nationals


Lynton Jeffrey will make a rare west coast appearance at Silver Dollar Speedway's Fall Nationals, driving for veteran car owner Harley Van Dyke. Lynton has had a stellar driving career and is the owner of Vortex Race Wings. Lynton will be onboard the LRB Manufacturing, Vortex Race Wings, Hansen Machine & Fab, J.F. McCray Plastering, Rod End Supply, #5H S&D / J&J Chassis ASCS 360.

Klein runs 6th in Spec Sprint Shootout


Team Driver Herman Klein ran 6th at Petaluma Speedway's Spec Sprint Shootout. Herman started the night finishing 2nd in his heat from his second row starting spot, driving for long time car owner Harley Van Dyke. He started the main from the front row and by lap 6 he had lapped 5 cars and was clearly the car to beat. On lap 13, Herman was collected by lap traffic and had to restart in the rear of the 22 car field. Klein went to the top and ran the cushion to pass 16 cars to finish 6th. Herman drove the LRB Manufacturing, Hansen Machine & Fab, J.F. McCray Plastering, Rod End Supply, S&D / Maxim Chassis Non Wing Spec Sprint. This is our test car for all New LRB Products and we couldn't be happier with its performance !!! Thanks Herman and Harley !!!

Hockett Runs 3rd at USAC's Four Crown Nationals held at Eldora Speedway


Team Driver Jesse Hockett runs 3rd at USAC's Four Crown Nationals held at Eldora Speedway. Hockett started the night by qualifying 14th. Jesse then ran 4th in the heat to transfer into the main. From his 15th starting, he railed the top on his way to a 3rd place finish. Jesse is one of the hardest working drivers in the country and his success is due to his dedication, his car owner, his crew, and the companies that work with his racing program. Sweet Runs 3rd at Gold Cup


Team Driver Brad Sweet started Thursday's Preliminary Night off qualifying 2nd. Sweet then finished 2nd in the Heat and Dash. Sweet then ran 2nd in the main until a late race pass put him in 3rd. That put him 2nd in points for the first night. On Saturday night Brad started the main second row outside in the Gary Perkins owned, Rod Tiner tuned #6 Maxim. Sweet clicked off lap after lap with precision, being challenged several times to finish 3rd. This was a great run for Brad Sweet, Car Owner Gary Perkins, and Crew Chief Rod Tiner. Brad Sweet drives the GP Development, LRB Manufacturing, JF McCray Plastering, Circle Wheels, Pizza Guys, ART #6 Maxim.

Hockett Wins Night #1 Lake Osark Speedway 360 Nationals


Team Driver Jesse Hockett Wins Night #1 Lake Osark Speedway 360 Nationals. Hockett started by running 2nd in the Qualifying Dash, and then winning his heat. On night #2 Jesse ran 4th in the Qualifying Dash and went on to finish 4th in the Main. Hockett drives the VKCC Motorsports, LRB Manufacturing, #75 using Westmar / DRC. Great job Jesse!!!

Catching up with Jesse Hocket


Team Driver Jesse Hockett had another good run going Friday night at Bloomington. Jesse had set quick time and came from the 3rd row outside to win his heat. In the main, Hockett was passing for 2nd when the rear axle tube broke. Saturday night with a rainout at Sharon Speedway, Hockett at the last minute drove to Mercer Raceway Park, some 35 miles away. Missing hot laps and qualifying, Jesse tags the heat in the 6th row. Jesse ran up to 6th. In the main Hockett started 7th and ran 5th. Hockett drives the VKCC Motorsports, LRB Manufacturing, #75 using Westmar / DRC. Great job Jesse!!!

Sweet Battled the Outlaws at Cottage Grove


Team Driver Brad Sweet battled the Outlaws at Cottage Grove. Now back in the West Coast driving Gary Perkins Owned #6s kept in tune by his buddy Kyle Hirst, Brad started the night off by Qualifying 10th. Sweet won the first heat, finished 8th in the dash. Sweet then laid down an 8th place run in the main. Great Job Brad and Car owner Gary Perkins. Hirst Finishes Strong at Silver Dollar Speedway


Team Driver Kyle Hirst finishes strong Friday Night at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico Ca. Great Job Kyle and Car owner Gary Perkins. Kyle went out and set quick time only to have the random noise police take it away. Kyle went back out for one lap at the end of qualifying to reset quick time. Now required to tag the rear of the heat, Kyle had to come thru the B main to get back in the show finishing 2nd. Starting 6th row inside, he worked his way forward, finishing 5th. Hockett Finishes 3rd in Points with the O'Reilly Sprint Bandits TNT Midwest Swing


Team Driver Jesse Hockett finishes 3rd in points with the O'Reilly Sprint Bandits TNT Midwest Swing. At Lakeside Speedway in Friday's 25-lap preliminary feature, Hockett in the 1st heat ran 4th, in the 1st qualifing race he won, and in the main he finished 4th. This locked him into row 2 for the Saturday night's $10,000 to win Ron Shuman Classic. At the Ron Shuman Classic, Hockett finished 3rd in the feature which secured his 3rd place finish in the points. Hockett is Defending his Sprint Bandits TNT Midwest Swing Championship


Team Driver Jesse Hockett is Defending his Sprint Bandits TNT Midwest Swing Championship. Hockett started out at Nebraska Raceway Park's I-80 Speedway. In the 3rd heat Hockett ran 3rd, ran 1st qualifing race he ran 5th, and in the main he finished 16th. At the Mid-America Speedway Hockett finished 1st in the 2nd heat, ran 4th in the 5th qualifing race, and in the main he finished 5th. At the Creek County Speedway Hockett finished 2nd in the 2nd heat, ran 2nd in the 3rd qualifing race, and in the main he finished 4th. Hockett currently sits 10th in points just 34 points out of the lead. Hockett drives the VKCC Motorsports, LRB Manufacturing, #75 using Westmar / DRC. Great job Jesse!!!

Team Driver Herman Klein dominated Saturday Night at Marysville Raceway Park. Congratulations to Herman and veteran car owner Harley Van Dyke. Klein qualified 6th and won his heat from the second row. He started the main from the 3rd row out side, passing his way to the front just before half way. Croft Sets Fast Time #7!!!


Team Driver Driver Willie Croft set fast for the 7th time this year! Congratulations to Willie and veteran tuner Rick Hirst. Croft hammered out an 11.884 around Silver Dollar Speedway's fast 1/4 mile. Willie's nickname Double Down may have to be reveiwed after this season. Quick Time Willie Croft is more deserving since he has set fast time at 50% of the races he's entered this year!!! He ran 4th in his heat and 6th in the dash. Croft finished 6th in the main and securely sits 4th in Golden State Points. LRB Manufacturing congratulates team driver Brad Sweet and car owner Gary Perkins on their 4th place finish at the Silver Dollar Speedway on Friday Night. Sweet started the night setting quick time and runnig 3rd in his heat. In the Main, Sweet had been as high as 2nd place before settling into 4th. Sweet had flown back to the West Coast for the weekend before jetting back to drive for Jack Yeley. Humphreys Wins at Placerville on the 4th!!!


Congratulations to Team Driver CJ Humphreys and Car owner Dale Miller on winning at Placerville Speedway on the 4th of July. The veteran of 27 years scored his 3rd win this season. Humphreys stared out qualifying 5th and transfering out of his heat. The pill draw put him on the front row of the main. Humphreys took the lead never being challenged on the super dry slick track. Croft Wins at Quincy!!!


LRB Manufacturing Team Driver Willie Croft Wins at Quincy! Croft started the night by qualifing 3rd. He ran 2nd in his heat and 3rd in the dash. On Friday night at Chico, Croft laid down a 12.013 in qualifing for quick time. He ran 3rd in his heat and finished 7th in the main. Croft drives Tom Rolfe Trucking, Dave Wasney's Holy Smokes BBQ, LRB Manufacturing, BR Motorsports, GH Plumbing, ART, Tognotti's Auto World, Apex Grafix, Don Ott Racing Engines #29 using Ott / Maxim but for this weekend it was #10. Hockett Starts in the Parking Lot!!!


LRB Manufacturing congratulates Team Driver Jesse Hockett for that never-give-up spirit. Hockett must have felt like he was starting in the parking lot the last four nights, but he still managed to finish in the money. At Bloomington, he qualified 12th, DNTO of the heat, so he finished 2nd in the C, 4th in the B, got his time back to start 12th in the main where he raced to 5th. Not too bad for a 57 car field! At Brownstown, Hockett started the heat 8th and raced to win. In the main he started 2nd and that's where he finished. At Learnerville with the Allstars Hockett qualified 26, DNTO of the heat, so he ran 4th in the B, started 24th in the main where he raced to 6th. At Grandveiw, Hockett qualified 2nd, started 8th in the heat to finish 2nd. As he rolled out for the main a sway bar part broke. After the repair he started last and raced back to 10th. Hockett drives the VKCC Motorsports, LRB Manufacturing, #75 using Westmar Engines / DRC Chassis 410. Great job Jesse!!!

Another Top Weekend for Croft !!!


LRB Manufacturing congratulates Team Driver Willie Croft for another strong performance Friday night in Petaluma. Croft drove the Dave Wasney's Holy Smokes BBQ, LRB Manufacturing, BR Motorsports, GH Plumbing, ART, Tognotti's Auto World, Apex Grafix, Don Ott Racing Engines #29 using Ott / Maxim to qualify 3rd, 1st in his heat, 3rd in the dash, and 3rd in the main. On Saturday night at Calistoga Croft put on an outstanding show qualify 9th, 2nd in his heat, and finished 2nd in the main. On Sunday night at Calistoga, Croft was set to finsh up front again. He qualified 2nd, 4th in his heat, 4th in the dash. He was running in the top 5 when he spun in turn 3. Restarting last, he ran the field back up to 9th. Great job Willie !!!

Hockett drove the VKCC Motorsports, LRB Manufacturing, #75 using Westmar Engines / DRC Chassis winning both his heat race and Main. On Saturday in Terre Haute, Hockett in qualified 8th, ran 2nd in the heat, and finished 3rd in the main. On Sunday in Kokomo, Hockett in qualified 14th, ran 3rd in the heat, and finished 7th in the main. Great job Jesse!!!

Jesse Hockett wins at Double X Speedway !!!


LRB Manufacturing congratulates Team Driver Jesse Hockett for winning at Double X Speedway Sunday night. Hockett drove the #77 Hockett Motorsports owned LRB Manufacturing, VKCC Motorsports ASCS 360 to win his first Feature with Team LRB. Hockett, using RMS Race Engines / Frankenstein Chassis, had stretched out over a straight away lead before the checkered flag fell. Great job Jesse!!!

Sweet runs second at the Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial !!!


LRB Manufacturing congratulates Team Driver Brad Sweet on his 2nd place finish at the 17th annual Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial race held at the Silver Dollar Speedway on Saturday night. Sweet started the night qualifing 5th and running 4th in the Dash in his GP Development, LRB Manufacturing, JF McCray Plastering, Circle Wheels, Pizza Guys, ART #6 Maxim. Great job Brad!!! Team Driver Kyle Hirst had strong qualifying time ( top 5 ) but due to a noise infraction had to requalified (15th). Team Driver Willie Croft hammered out another fast time that held through the 48 car field. Hirst and Croft had to get into the feature though the B main. Hirst started 21st and finished 7th which earned him the hard charger award. Croft finished 9th. Congratulations to all of our Teams!

Kyle Hirst Wins 3000.00 "Family Chevrolet Tribute to Al Hinds" at Placerville !!!


LRB Manufacturing would like to congratulate Team Driver Kyle Hirst for winning 3000.00 "Family Chevrolet Tribute to Al Hinds" at Placerville Speedway's Civil War Race Saturday night. Hirst drove the Harley Van Dyke owned LRB Manufacturing, Hansen Machine & Fab, S & D Racing Engines, Rod End Supply ASCS 360 to win his heat and the feature. Kyle Hirst is a Nor-Cal racer who has been in the Midwest looking for a USAC ride. "Kyle is an asset to any team and is always welcome with us" said Van Dyke. Team Driver CJ Humphreys / Dale Miller Plumbing was fast time and finished 3rd in the stacked feature. On Friday night at Silver Dollar Speedway Kyle Hirst driving the Harley Van Dyke owned 5h finished 2nd in the feature. Tom Rolfe loaned Van Dyke a Hittin S & D Race Engines 410 fresh of the dyno for Kyle to use while we have him in the car. Thanks Tom!!! Team Driver Brad Sweet / GP Development was fast time and had the car to beat untill late in the race when a engine failure took him out.

Willie and Brad finished 2nd and 4th in the 410 feature. Saturday night racing was rained out for the GSC boys.

Team drivers Willie Croft and Brad Sweet finished 1st and 2nd in the Dash. Willie was fast in the feature, finishing 2nd. Brad was 7th Saturday night in Tulare. 360 Team Drivers CJ Humphreys and Joey Magaruh were also fast at Placerville Speedway Saturday with CJ finishing 2nd and Joey 4th. The seasoned veteran has seventeen years of experience as a Sprint Car Driver and is always the crowd favorite. With Dale building a New Team around the former Civil War Champion, CJ is positioned to have one of his best years ever. Brad Sweet wins at Hanford 3/16/07


Brad Sweet drove the GP Development, LRB Manufacturing, JF McCray Plastering, Circle Wheels, Pizza Guys, ART Sprint Car to his first career Golden State Challenge win Friday Night at Kings Speedway . He backed it up with a 5th place on Saturday. Congratulations to the entire Team for a great weekend of racing.

LRB Manufacturing is proud to announce we have partnered with Jacob and Tyler Spath for the 2007 season. Tyler will drive the Blues Brothers Racing #35 ASCS 360 competing with the Sprint Bandit Series,USAC/CRA , and SCRA events. Tyler Will also drive the #KR14 ASCS 360 owned by Jacob Spath competing with the NSCS, and the Brodex Tournement of Champions at Knoxville. Tyler is currently a Sophomore at Oregon State pursuing a Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Jacob is the Owner of NorCal Performance, a race shop dedicated to Sprint Car Products. Awesome Development Program for LRB Manufacturing!


LRB Manufacturing, Inc. is proud to announce partnership with Harley VanDyke and Joey Magaruh on our development program for the 07 race season. Harley has been involved in open wheel dirt track racing since 1990. As a car owner Harley has many years of racing experience and brings valuable knowledge to our team. Joey has ten years of experience as a Sprint car driver with many feature wins under his belt. He won the 2005 Placerville Speedway Championship and the 360 Gold Cup Invitational race back to back in 05 & 06. There are three drivers that have accomplished this feat since the inception of the race and Joey is one of them! The LRB Manufacturing, Hansen Machine & Fab, A-1 Auto Body, S and D Racing Engines, Rod End Supply ASCS 360 will campain in the NSCS, Civil War, and Select High Profile Races.

Brad Sweet 15 Races 18 Days


LRB Manufacturing has partnered with team owner Gary Perkins for the 2007 season. The GP Development, LRB Manufacturing, JF McCray Plastering #6 is driven by the very talented Brad Sweet. Heavy hitters Duke McMillen , Harley Van Dyke , and Kyle Hirst will keep the cars in perfect tune. They left Sacramento Sunday to get to Florida Thursday night. East Bay Raceway for the first 9 nights, then to Volusia Speedway. They will be running Winged 410, Non Winged 410, and ASCS 360. Fifteen races would be a season for most, but not for young Brad Sweet, That's the first 18 days of the 2007 season.
