2005
Tyler Spath began his sprint car racing career at the age of 17 with the 2005 SCRA non-wing series. Tyler quickly began running in the top five on a weekly basis, which helped him secure the 2005 “Rookie” honors. In the 2005 season, Tyler headed east for the ASCS Sprint Bandits T’n'T tour finishing out in 11th in points and posting a best 6th place finish at Lakeside Speedway, finishing just behind USAC regulars Levi Jones, Dave Darland and John Stanbrough.

2006
Tyler was sidelined for most of the season, only being able to compete at the “360” Fall National at Sliver Dollar Speedway and Trophy Cup at Thunderbowl Speedway.

For the 2007 Racing Season
Tyler will make appearances with Sprint Bandit Series, USAC/CRA, SCRA, NSCS, and the Brodex Tournement of Champions at Knoxville.
