This was definitely a very interesting year for the Warsaw, Mo driver. Jesse started
off the year as excited as could be finally getting to take his talent on the road as
he traveled with the ASCS National Tour. Second stop on the tour saw the Rocket put
his #75 VKCC Motorsports mount in victory lane at Baton Rouge, LA. The year was
looking very highly for the young man, but yet to find out this would be his only
victory in ASCS National Tour action, although scoring multiple top fives with the
series. The team would go on to win an additional twelve races last year including non
wing victories with the Sprint Bandits, USAC, and winged with the WOW, and Civil War
series. At the end of the year the team ended up third in ASCS National Tour points,
and went on to win the Sprint Bandits midwest championship.
2005
19 feature wins
31 top five finishes
38 top ten finishes
Won the western Australia points week championship.
Jesse had a great year, although was up and down from time to time. Starting the year
in the Kasey Kahne Racing car, it was a struggle for Jesse and the crew chief at the
time to get on the same page and it led to Jesse deciding to leave the team. At that
point he came home and starting running his own equipment with help from former owner
Tom Vankiersblick. The year just took off from there and things went great. Everything
was running smoothly and things continued that way all the rest of the year. Winning
19 feature races, among the most in the country.
2004

preliminary feature and made it into the Knoxville Nationals A main lineup Starting

the non wing SCRA prelim at Lakeside Speedway. On Saturday Jesse Started 5th and ran
down usac contender Tony Elliott to lead the last 9 laps in one of the most exciting
drives through traffic ever, to claim the $10,000 to win SCRA non wing world
championship finale for the second straight year. He drove by non wing stars such as
Levi Jones, Tony Elliott, Rickie Gaunt, Bud Kaeding, Dave Darland, and more in only
his 6th non wing start.
During August Jesse has also won 4 360 wing sprint car races in a row at XX Speedway
near his Home in Missouri. Jesse has to be considered one of the most versatile
drivers in Sprint car racing winning in every type of car he has driven. Jesse drove
the Wright One Construction #35 on the World of Outlaws Tour for two months at the end
of 2004. Jesse has aspirations of racing on pavement and dirt in all 3 usac series
