Tony Bruce Jr. wins The ASCS Short Track Nationals Back to Back!!! Due to inclement weather, the race was moved to one week later. On Wednesday, Tony must have turned 100 laps in practice learning everthing he could. His motto for the day, "You can never be too good." After Thursday's program, Tony was sitting on high point of the night. On Saturday night, Tony started third row inside powering his way into the lead by lap 5 and was uncontested for the win. This what Tony had to say about winning the Short Track Nationals: "I never thought I would win one, much less two Short Track Nationals. It's unbelievable and a dream come true that we have back to back Short Track Nationals victories. I'm the third person to accomplish this along side Steve Kinser and Gary Wright. It's a special feeling! I can't thank my crew and dad enough. Without my dad none of this would be possible. It's just as much his dream as it is mine for us to be on the road and competing at this level. It's a big honor for us to go down to Little Rock and put our name on the T-shirt twice!"
